We sail. We sail upon this ocean called Grace. No anchorage to be had, no port to be seen. The wind dictates our home and it moves us towards the end of the race. See, we are not sailing for no reason at all. We sail for those that can’t sail themselves. For those that are captive by chains, anchoring them to things they no longer want. Withered and worn, they are slaves, hungry and gaunt.
Are you ready to take up the mantle, young man? Are you ready for the fight at hand? We have rescued you, and brought you aboard. Now it’s time for you to join the fight. Take up your sword and fight for the light. There are many more, just like you, anchored in darkness. But you are now anchored in hope, one that is bound by love. So to the ships boys, it’s time to set sail. We sail to fight, one for eternity. We fight. We fight for the lost and the broken, the dying and the dirty. Justice is our cry, with hope in our eyes. The battle is not over, but not lost. We will see the captives set free, no matter what the cost.
